About Cako

Cako.com is an online marketplace for local bakeries.

We are proud to represent local artisans who handcraft unique and delicious desserts, including cupcakes, cake pops, custom cakes, cookies, and other amazing treats.  Cako.com enables these locally-owned, independent small businesses to take advantage of the latest trends in ecommerce, online ordering, and food delivery, without adding more work to their already busy schedules.

Cako Bakery was founded in 2009 by pastry chefs and entrepreneurs as a way to share our love of great food and creative desserts.  That experience introduced us to the incredible wealth of talent and passion in the industry, but it also exposed us to the struggles and difficulties of starting and operating a bakery business.  So, we started building Cako.com, a marketplace where bakeries could launch and grow their businesses using modern Internet technology and marketing strategies.  We still own and operate a few stores in San Francisco and San Jose, but now Cako.com has grown into a thriving business in its own right.  The marketplace now helps local bakeries reach tens of thousands of customers, with more growth on the way.

We are currently accepting applications for bakeries located in the San Francisco Bay Area.  If you, or someone you know, owns or manages a bakery or is thinking about starting a bakery, Cako.com is the best way to get online orders.  Our team of experienced and dedicated professionals can help you market your products, accept orders, and manage delivery through our custom-built technology platform.  We are the only online ordering solution that is specifically tailored to the needs of independent bakeries.
